The Brits love to travel, Australians love working in Britain. These two facts mean I have met and befriended many in London. After finding a really cheap ticket to Kuala Lumpur via London, I decided to brave the cold and rain and spend a week... It was quite a busy week! Here are some of the pictures..

Friends Living in London

Cortney is the brother of a good friend I met in Peru -- we all just went skiing in Vancouver a few weeks ago... Gemma, clearly taken by Cortney's charm, is Requel's roommate
Lovely Requel refusing to cooperate with my modest efforts at photographing her... This picture has not been digitally retouched. Thanks Req!

This darling little girl was walking in the park with her very proud parents... Without hesitation, she took my left hand and Requels right hand and just walked with us...

Duncan and Gemma, two of Requel's roommates

Special THANKS to my good friend Magnus for flying in from Stockholm for a weekend visit... Then again, he said it was about 40 below with just a few hours of sunlight a day, so maybe cold and dreary London was an escape to good (*cough*) weather for him!
